Balloons make everything more fun in Philly!
Race Street Pier & Elfreth’s Alley, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
Jenn & Kevin’s Engagement Session Highlights
We don’t see too many sessions at Uncorked Studios with GIANT BALLOOOOOONS (more fun if you type it that way), so I was thrilled to see Jenn and Kevin waiting on the Race Street Pier with two big white ones!
Jenn and Pat won a free engagement session from one of the bridal shows in Philadelphia at the beginning of 2014. We had fun brainstorming some ideas to photograph around the city with the two of them. We settled on the Race Street Pier and Elfreth’s Alley for their spring session.
After postponing twice, the weather was as perfect as perfect could get for May in Philadelphia. The Rae Street Pier gave us gorgeous deep blue skies as well as empty sidewalks to photograph on. Jenn and Kevin walked hand and hand down the boardwalk to the end only to be greeted by a sailboat cruising under the Ben Franklin Bridge (how cool is that?!). After a quick outfit change, we wandered down Elfreth’s Alley, also known as “our nation’s oldest residential street.” The houses along Elfreth’s Alley were built between 1728 and 1836. It was a great location because the sun peeked just over the tops of the modern buildings to give us a wonderful evening glow for the second half of their engagement session.
Take notice of some of the wonderful locations in Philadelphia (and the crazy blue skies, and ballooooons, and sailboats!).
Loving the engaged.
