Jessica & Bryan’s Engagement Session Highlights

Wine picnics, ice cream, and scenic overlooks!

Bryan and Jessica are Philadelphia and love everything about Philadelphia. So when they said they wanted an engagement session incorporating the feels and highlights of Philadelphia, we knew exactly how to make their vision come to life. See, for Bryan and Jessica, Philadelphia isn’t just an art museum and a love statue. To them Philadelphia is a home, a culture, and a community. This is where they live, had their first date, and where they go to relax. It is an all-encompassing life style they love and cherish.

To start our Philadelphia adventure, we met at the Race Street Pier on rather hot summer fall day. Jessica and Bryan didn’t let the heat bother them as they strolled up and down the scenic pier. Stopping to take in the amazing view of the Ben Franklin Bridge you could watch as the world faded away for Bryan and Jessica and for a moment they were the only two people in the entire world. After enjoying a small picnic at the end of the pier it was off to Washington Square! As the Race Street Pier highlights the Philadelphia waterfront and architectural wonders, Washington Square Park highlights the old world feel, and warmth of Philadelphia.

There are fewer prettier places than Washington Square Park in the fall! To help cool down on the rather sticky day, Jessica and Bryan stopped and picked up some hand made ice cream before taking in the park. While eating ice cream it was so much fun listening to Jessica and Bryan talk about dates in the park and hearing them reminisce about all the amazing time they have together. Once the ice cream was gone it was off to the Belmont Plateau for one of the best views of the city!

How better to end a Philly inspired engagement session than with the city in the background. As they overlooked the city, there was as sense of calm and serenity swept over the couple. It was like you could see them all the pieces of the puzzle align in their heads forming a gorgeous picture of their past and their future. We would like to thank Bryan and Jessica for an amazing session, and we can’t wait for their incredible wedding!
