Gina Maria and Mike’s Engagement Session Highlights

Just takin’ the time to stroll the street!

What a lovely day for a stroll! Gina Maria and Mike invited us to take a walk all their old stomping grounds in Manayunk for their spring engagement session. We often tell couples to choose a meaningful location for your engagement session, sometimes it helps calm the nerves, but it also can help make the images that much more meaningful because it can conjure past memories. Considering Manayunk was their first date location – I think they chose quite well!

We started our session with lots of laughs along the canal. Mike’s smile just lights up Gina Maria’s face and it’s very clear they enjoy spending time together! Since it’s such a popular towpath in Manayunk, we dodged bikers and other walkers enjoying the lovely early spring friday afternoon. The duo didn’t seem to mind the pause in photos – it was just great to watch them spend the time together (I’m pretty sure they were always holding hands!).

Next they took us on a tour right down the main drag. There are so many adorable restaurants  and shops for foodies in this part of the Philadelphia area. Gina Maria and Mike certainly had their favorites and pointed them out as we walked and snapped photos. (On a side note, it looks like if you’re a foodie and you love Manayunk, they are having a Walk, Shop, and Eat event every Thursday this summer from 5pm until sundown where they have street venders, food trucks, and more for patron to enjoy! Helllllo awesome date night!)

Lastly, we took a quick jaunt down a few side streets to see where Gina Maria and Mike spent many hours hanging out in the beginning of their relationship. Such a great way to spend a Friday afternoon! Gina Maria and Mike, thank you for giving us the tour of your old Manayunk stomping grounds!
