Stacie & Jessie’s Wedding Day Highlights
Laughter, love, and smiles for miles filled the air the morning of their wedding.
Jessie and Stacie’s mornings both started out very similar – they both had suites at the Inn at Holly Hedge Estate. They both had their hair by Detangled Salon, Salon Gratitude, and makeup done Rita Marie Pinto. They both were surrounded by their family and bridal party as they prepared for their big day. Both women shared first looks with their fathers (and mothers). You know they are simply meant to be when both opened their gifts from each other to reveal two beautiful pairs of diamond earrings.
Jessie got dressed first in her Justin Alexander gown from L&H Bridal. The train on this dress is so impressive (not to mention her veil matched in length perfectly and the details were to die for!). Her mom and sister helped Jessie get dressed while her half of the bridal party gave advice and helped with the jewelry and details (her flower girl even stole a moment with her lace and pearl shoes!).
Across the hall at Holly Hedge Estate, Stacie slipped into her Allure gown (also from L&H Bridal). Though her train wasn’t nearly as long as her almost-wife’s, the lace work and buttons down the back were picturesque. Her grandmother helped adjust her veil so it was just perfect. Stacie’s mom assisted her into her dress. It was time for her first look with her wife-to-be!
Their first look took place in front of Holly Hedge Estate. James Knightly Films was on location as well capturing the looks on their faces as both brides opened their eyes to see each other for the first time on their wedding day. There may have been a couple tears of joy, but more importantly, Stacie and Jessie were ecstatic to see each other all dolled up for their wedding day.
We took the almost-weds around the campus of Holly Hedge Estate for some of their portraits before retiring to one of the air conditioned buildings for family photos. Family is important to Stacie and Jessie and we spent awhile taking multiple group photos of important people in their lives. Once we finished, it was time for a bridal party photo and off to the separate bridal suites to prepare for the ceremony.
The ceremony was short, sweet, and purposeful performed by Diane from Journeys of the Heart. The ladies said, “I-do,” shared a kiss, and exited the ceremony site to have a quick champagne toast befogging joining their guests for an entire wedding photo taken off the balcony of the cocktail hour building. Time to party!
After cocktail hour, guests were ushered into the reception space which was rustically decorated with candles, wooden escort cards, and beautiful blooms created by The Pod Shop. DJ Eric Scoot Gold from East Coast Entertainment Group announced the bridal party into the reception hall (now complete with party hats and superhero capes!) and continued the party atmosphere all night. It could be said that he was ALMOST stood up by the ring bearer… whom just wanted his share of his time in the spotlight.
Jessie and Stacie, thank you so much for including us in your #2brides1wedding celebration. Such a wonderful night with an amazing couple!
