Kaitlin and Matthew’s Engagement Session Highlights
It ’twas a chilly March day, once upon a time… but Kaitlin and Matthew didn’t seem to mind the cold!
Talk about being a complete natural on camera – Kaitlin and Matthew (though they admitted they were a bit nervous at the start of our session), had the most perfect on (and off) screen chemistry. We met at the Bethlehem SteelStacks while the sun was out and still shinning to start their session. Every time we visit the SteelStacks, it always seems they are improving and adding something new! We had never before experienced (what I’m going to call) the catwalk about two stories above ground that allows visitors to get an eye-level view of the monstrous old buildings.
The SteelStacks make a really cool backdrop for engagement photos – the metallic textures are super fun to incorporate into the backgrounds and there are so many hidden places. It was really important to the pair that we capture the uplighting that comes on and gets projected onto the SteelStacks after dusk. Kaitlin had a subtle outfit change (cranberry shirt to blue shirt) and I simply adore the leather jacket that she rocked for the entire session. Matthew’s style was a dress casual and matched Kaitlin perfectly. I love how moments from their session went from rock’n roll bold to super romantic and warm. Just browsing through these photos you can certainly tell these two are best friends!
This fun-loving duo will be tying the knot at the ah-maz-ing Mountain Spring Lake in August, but until the summer, we leave you with the highlights from their SteelStacks engagement session!
