Kiera & John’s Engagement Session Highlights

I love it when couples choose to incorporate places that have great meaning to them! For Kiera and John, it’s West Chester!

After getting engaged in April, this inseparable duo decided there would be no better place to do their engagement photos besides some of the very locations that they hung out  with friends and had some of their first dates. Off to West Chester we went (of course the weather was hot and humid, it IS summer…).

Like total posing pros, these two worked the camera like they had been there before! I absolutely love it when we have to give very little direction to our clients because their chemistry is so natural, it just allows me to click the shutter on our camera like, a million times. Maybe when these two aren’t being teachers to the youth of America, they find time to gallivant in front of the camera. (So excited to get them in front of our lenses for their July 2016 wedding!!!)

Once we finished photographing in town, we made our way to the West Chester University Campus for a few more photo opportunities. My favorite moment from their session is when they held hands and walked down the pathway together in front of the building pictured above – why? Because they were super patient with us! “Hey guys can you walk? No wait, slower, and look at each other. Okay, cool, can you do that again?” Every time in this blazing heat they did it again and again with smiles on their faces. Honestly, I’m not even sure they knew we were there! This couple has a way of looking at each other and the rest of the world disappearing.
