Alyssa & Kyle’s Engagement Session Highlights

Bethlehem seems to be a common thread for Alyssa and Kyle, so it made perfect sense to schedule their engagement session during one of the most magical seasons in the world located right in the center of the holiday wizardry.

The cold November nip of the air added to the charm of the engagement session in downtown Bethlehem. We love it when our couples feel relaxed in each other’s arms and the colder weather always makes two people much happier to snuggle together!

My absolutely favorite thing about Alyssa and Kyle is they happily made all of our scenarios and poses their own. It was such great fun to photograph two people who were comfortable in front of the camera and just love everything about their spouse. Alyssa loves his patience and Kyle loves her caring personality. Together they share many of the same interests.

Did I mention that she loves how he makes her laugh? This was Kyle’s favorite photo from the session. Pretty sure this is his signature pose and I look forward to seeing if he can achieve this in a tuxedo (maybe we should get some tuxedo sweatpants as a backup?).

This was Alyssa’s favorite moment because she is completely wrapped up in Kyle’s attention AND her stunner of a ring is one of the focal points of this image! I love how these two make each other so very very happy!

Alyssa and Kyle met on a Tinder date and spent hours talking over their first lunch date together. It didn’t take long before they knew that they could picture their lives together and the outcome would make both of them very happy.

And as I leave you with my favorite photo from their engagement session in Historic Bethlehem, I give you their proposal story, “Kyle planned a birthday weekend in New England.  On our way up to Boston, we stopped in Newport, RI.  He planned a sunrise stroll on the Cliff Walk.  The rain put a damper on his plan at first, so we delayed about a half hour.  By the time we got out there, it had just stopped raining.  We walked to the Breakers, which is one of the nicer homes on the walk and has a outlook that juts over the ocean.  There, I started crying before he even got down on one knee.  It was perfect.  There was no one around, so we were able to totally be ourselves–raw and emotional and then goofy and giddy.”
