Vanessa & Jon’s Engagement Session Highlights

I think it is such a great fit when a couple wants to do their engagement session at the same location as they are holding their wedding! Vanessa and Jon knew right away that they wanted to do their engagement photo session at the historic Joseph Ambler Inn.

The Joseph Ambler Inn is made up of five historical buildings that they are updating and modernizing. The rolling acres the Inn sits on land that once belonged to William Penn in 1682! The farmhouse was built around 1711 and the rest of the buildings on property have sprung up or transferred to the property (The John Roberts House was driven two miles to be placed on property). Such a great piece of history!

Vanessa and Jon are too cute. I’m not one to use that expression very often (it can get really overused in the wedding industry!), but they way they look at each other, the way he holds her, the way he flirts with her, it just creates such a fun chemistry together! They toured us around the property and gave us a sneak peek of their favorite locations for the wedding day. One of my favorite moments was when Jon lifted her up for a photo opportunity (this guy has some serious muscles, so he probably could have lifted her with one finger!). There was a great connection between the two and the rolling fog of the warm January air made for a really cool backdrop! Next time we visit this property there will be spring blossoms everywhere.
