Ashley & Nicholas’ Engagement Session Highlights

This duo was such a blast to get in front of our cameras! We met Ashley at her best friend’s wedding a few years back and we are thrilled to be capturing her journey down the aisle as well!

Ashley and Nicholas selected the charming Historic Smithville Park in Mount Holly, New Jersey. This small village focusing on mill operations was in it’s prime from the 1860’s to the 1920’s. These diverse 312-acre park is a photographer’s paradise with every type of backdrop imaginable for engagement and wedding imagery.

Like most couples, Ashley and Nicholas were a bit nervous to be in front of the camera for their engagement session. By the end of our time together, they were 100% comfortable with having the camera pointed in their direction. (Seriously, they’re wedding day is going to be a breeze!).

These two are always up for an adventure and going to do things together with friends and family. They love to have a good time and when they relaxed in front of the camera, their natural chemistry together took over and we created some awesome images! My favorite moment at Historic Smithville Park during their session was when Ashley changed outfits and put on the most gorgeous engagement dress. it was light and airy and soft and perfect to photograph for a bride-to-be. She immediately became 100% more comfortable in from of the camera (and everyone in the park kept stopping us to compliment her on how lovely she looked!).

We are excited for all the adventures to come on your wedding day and all the explorations you two have together in the future! Who knew a little flirting in Sea Isle City would lead to the most beautiful relationship?
