SAMANTHA & Michael’s Engagement Session Highlights
What do you get when you cross a Beagle and an English Bulldog? A Beabull!
Samantha and Michael arrived to Lock Ridge Park on a very chilly February day for their engagement session. They definitely had the motto on their breath that, “our love will keep us warm!” I mean, love and those awesome matching Eagles hats!
I’ve never been to Lock Ridge Park in the dead of winter. The park was full of a neutral color palette (tans and browns) so the fact that Samantha and Michael chose to wear dark black coats popped them off the background. With the help of Yogi, these two were laughing and snuggling together for their portrait sesssion. We even managed to wrangle a few flurries from mother nature!
If you can’t tell from visiting our studio, we have a soft spot for dogs. One of my favorite shots is Yogi wearing a sign that read, “My Humans are Getting Married!” We only managed to get a few photos of this sign before Yogi gave it a deliberate lick and smeared the carefully calligraphed Pinterest-perfect writing. My favorite human-only moment features this great wind swept shot of Samantha looking into the camera as Michael looks at his bride-to-be.
Hey guys, can we borrow Yogi to be our photo bag carrying assistant for the month of October? Such a cutie!
