Melissa & David’s Wedding Day Highlights

I cannot get over their smiles – both the bride and the groom have grins for days!!!

Wouldn’t you be all smiles too if your wedding was at the fifty acre luxury that is The Inn at Grace Winery? Melissa and David chose to hold their wedding celebration at this stunning venue which allows you to celebrate with up to 140 guests from Friday evening to Sunday afternoon. The Inn at Grace Winery has everything a bride and groom needs to bring a smile to their faces, and the faces of their guests!

When we arrived Saturday morning, we found the groom at the pool with his son and his groomsmen. David enjoyed his morning with breakfast, beer, and a good swim. Melissa on the other hand, was being pampered from head to toe by Latoya (make-up artist) and Jess (hair artist). Melissa was surrounded by her six bridesmaids as well as mothers. They shared giggles and champagne as we photographed her bridal details and dresses. Melissa dazzled her bridal look with her rings from Benari Jewelers, Christian Louboutin kicks, Swarovski necklace, and topped it off with her Grandmother’s ring. She purchased her Monique Lhuillier gown from The Wedding Shoppe and it really was sophisticated luxury – just as she planned.

After both the bride and groom opened their guest from each other, they got ready for their first look. Actually, right before the first look, both of them snuck away to write their vows for the ceremony (did you know you both were writing your vows at the same time?). David waited patiently under a large tree in his Varani Formal Wear groomswear near their ceremony space for his wife-to-be. This may be one of the most emotional first looks we have ever been fortunate to witness. The almost-weds saw each other and just embraced under the tree and stood there for a quite a few minutes as they took in their wedding day. Hands down my most favorite moment from their wedding day.

As soon as the first look was over, guests started arriving via King Limo and we prepared for their ceremony. And down the stairs each bridesmaid descended in their Alfred Angelo dress. Each carried flowers created by OffShoots! and they simply glowed in the summer sunlight. Next down the aisle was the flower girl, Piper, and ring bearer, Angus – they may or may not have ALMOST stolen the show with their giggles and smiles! Not to be outdone, Melissa descend the staircase with a cathedral length veil. David’s mouth dropped when he saw his bride (for the second time). After a quick ceremony, the two were officially married.

Feastivities got the party started with some delicious cocktail hour treats. The 1750’s barn on premise has been updated to be the location for indoor receptions at The Inn at Grace Winery. Such a lovely modern (but vintage) space for a party! Paul Evans from Silver Sound Entertainment was on hand to keep the party going once the bride and groom made their grand entrance into the ballroom. Their cake, from Bredenbeck’s, had the most adorable keepsake topper of a mechanically inclined bride and groom. Between all the dancing and amazing food, we snuck the bride and groom out to the Grace Winery side of the Inn for some sunset photos amongst the grape vines.

Thank you guys for including us in your celebration! Congratulations!
