Jamie & Vlad’s Wedding Day Highlights

Every Friday for a year leading up to their wedding, Vlad would bring Jamie fresh flowers from the flower store.

For their wedding day I don’t think I’ve ever seen such beautiful flowers – the Enchanted Florist really went above and beyond. Jamie had views of Independence Hall from her Hotel Monaco window. As she had her hair and makeup done by Cheekadee and Ames Salon and Spa, her bridesmaids caught up on a little hgtv and gave her advice for her life as a married woman. Jamie calmly put on her David’s Bridal wedding dress no slipped into her Steve Madden shoes. She wore custom Kendra Scott earrings.

Jamie and Vlad shared their first look on the roof at the trendy lounge. Their mutual smiles said it all (honestly Vlad couldn’t keep his eyes of Jamie! She was radiant!). Vlad looked dapper in his Nordstrom tux. We hopped in an Über car and headed the the Philadelphia Museum of Art to enjoy the views of the city. We stopped on Benjamin Franklin Parkway for a  quick picture of Vlad in front of his hometown flag.

The bridal party joined us at Second Bank for bridal party portraits. It started to drizzle just a little, but Jamie and Vlad didn’t seem to notice as they walked hand in hand through the historic streets of Philadelphia.

Jamie and Vlad chose the Hotel Monaco for their ceremony and reception because it was near and dear to their heart. Their ceremony was short and sweet, but perfectly officiated by Joe Ferry. They joined their guests on the roof for cocktail hour. The ceremony space was quickly transformed into ther reception. DJ company  No Macarena welcomed the guests and took requests all night (enjoyed everything from current music, to the 90’s to Bollywood). The only place more popular during the reception might have been the open air photo booth! One of my favorite decorations was their beautiful cake, made by Ciao Bella Cakes – it had two squirrels on top for decoration! Well, not sure if it was the cake or the adorable Philly Pretzel Factory heart shaped pretzels!
