Lauren & Greg’s Engagement Session Highlights

Our engagement session started off with JJ arriving and telling us he would be escorting us to the Pocono Raceway track with the pace car. Um, hello VIP status!

This was a very unique cool experience for both Lauren and Greg – both are race fans so it just made sense to hold their engagement session at Pocono Raceway. The day of the session was a sunny spring day (which felt very much like the direct sun we would feel if we were sitting watching a race at the track, haha). This type of NASCAR track is known as the “Tricky Triangle” – it has the longest straightaway and only has three turns!

Our engagement session started by driving under the spectator stands and parking our cars inside the raceway. Within reason, we had full reign of the place – so in true Uncorked Studios fashion, we used every square inch we could photograph! From the stands, to the start line, to pit row, we really made our way around the whole place like it was our playground.

Hard to pick the “best” part of this session with Lauren and Greg – I’d have to say it was when JJ let this engaged duo sign their names right on the finish line. Lauren even signed her new married name for the first time! It’s this kind of experience that is really unforgettable (and once in a lifetime!). Though, for Travis, it might be that he got to drive Jen’s Mini-Cooper Sport on a real NASCAR racetrack (even if we were only going like 60mph).

Here is a huge huge thank you (times a million) to JJ and the excellent staff at Pocono Raceway. We truly felt like rockstars and I know you gave Lauren and Greg and once in a lifetime experience!
