Maureen & Conrad’s Wedding Day Highlights

There was a little nip in the air on the morning of Maureen and Conrad’s wedding – this was to be expected in November. What we didn’t expect was the tiniest bit of HAIL when Maureen went to do the first look with her father! Tradition states that rain brings good luck on the wedding day; we can only venture that hail brings extra blessings to your marriage!

Fortunately for us, there was only about 10 minutes of hail and we moved Maureen and her father’s first look under an awning in the backyard.  Let’s take a few steps back to the beginning of the day.  Maureen and her bridesmaids gathered at her parents house to finish the final touches. Maureen had her hair done by a New Hairizon and her look was finished with makeup by Nikki Evans.  The bridesmaids dressed in their Bill Levkoff gowns purchased from Page Six before they gathered in the family room to help the bride complete her transformation.

Maureen’s David’s Bridal dress gave her a classic silhouette.  She added a beautiful cream jacket, gloves, jewelry and shoes to the bridal look.  Once dressed, her father saw her for the first time.  There wasn’t a dry eye in the room as she embraced her father and prepared herself to be married.  After a small bite to eat they were driven to Saint Sophia Greek Orthodox Church by LimoToday.

At the same time, Conrad and his team of groomsmen got ready at the Hyatt House.  After seeing his parents and a few jokes, the dashing gentlemen (in their Men’s Wearhouse suits – looking quite dapper!) boarded the limo (also provided by LimoToday) and headed to the church early.  By getting to the church early, we had the time to take some fun and creative shots inspired by the vision of Conrad’s groomsmen.  We can not say enough how much fun it was working Conrad and his groomsmen (along with the entire wedding party of course).

Soon Maureen arrived where she walked down the aisle to meet her waiting fiancé (soon to be husband).  She clutched her bouquet, created by Trisha Onuskanych Floral Designs, and took in the scene before her.

Surrounded by friends and family, Maureen and Conrad were married during a gorgeous and traditional ceremony. To top off the day filled with tradition, the happy couple exited the church to a twilight lit bubble exit.

After some family photos, the newly married couple and the bridal party boarded the limo and traveled to Ursinus College Campus.

With a chill in the air, and romantic ambiance provided by campus lighting, Maureen and Conrad traveled around the college taking photos.  After the brisk photo session (pun intended), everybody was whisked away to the Empress Room.

Only a few minutes after arriving at the venue, Maureen and Conrad were introduced to their cheerings friends and family.  Every table was perfectly decorated with a rustic fall theme and the event was uplight with blug and purple lights.  After a tasty meal and heartfelt toasts by the maid of honor and best man the party commenced.  The party was fueled on by both the music provided by Soundscape Entertainment and the fantastic energy expelled by her friends and family.

The Master’s Baker cake was cut (and face smashed) right before the newlyweds shared their garter and bouquet toss. It might be hard to tell… but I’m pretty sure Maureen went for the cake smash first!  The night was topped off with an energetic and rousing dance party, along with a fantastic cigar bar.

We ended our night with Maureen and Conrad when we ventured outside for some sparkler photos. We can’t forget to mention the beautiful music contributed by Bella Musica String Ensembles and the wacky awesome open air Photo Booth run by #internalexis from Uncorked Studios.

We had an amazing time at their wedding and wish them the best of luck as they venture into the new year as a newly married couple!
