Jenn & Pat’s Wedding Day Highlights

Jenn and Pat’s wedding day was glorious.  Perfect blue skies, weather, and scheduled to a ‘T’ (just how Jenn likes it!).  These two Penn State grads  tied the knot on October 17, 2014 at the beautiful Stroudsmoor Country Inn.

Hair and makeup by Anthony Ashley Hair Design started bright and early at Mount Airy Resort and Casino. Jenn’s room overlooked the beautiful scenic Pocono mountains. Her five bridesmaids wore J Crew Bridal while Jenn wore a sparkly dress from Bijou Bridal. Her accessories included pieces from Pure Blooms, Crystal Avenues, and Tory Burch. She slipped in to her Badgley Mischka Shoes and continued the head to toe sparkle with her bracelet from Swarovski and earrings from Nadri. Jenn’s most radiant accessory on her wedding day was her smile (I’m sure Pat would agree!).

After Pat received his Modavo, he put on his J Crew tuxedo and took off for the Stroudsmoor Country Inn to prepare for the wedding ceremony outside the Terraview. Jenn and her bridesmaids climbed into their Limo from Limousines For Less and followed over to Stroudsmoor after taking photos at the casino.

Jenn took her father’s arm and carried her flowers by Susan Bernadette as all eyes were on her as she walked down the aisle. Pat’s mouth dropped when he saw her smile come around the corner during the ceremony. Pastor Jim Brashear officiated the outdoor ceremony while Pennsylvania Strings Ensemble helped create a lovely mood.  After exchanging vows, the two locked a wine box together, and shared their first kiss in front of their closest friends and family.

We had a super quick photo session capturing the crisp fall air and the newlyweds. Jenn and Pat were quickly ushered into their glorious autumn reception hall at Terraview. The tables were decorated perfectly fall with DIY centerpieces by the bride.  Gruvin Enterprises kept the spotlight on Jenn and Pat all evening while JHC Videography captured all the moments from their day. Besides cake cutting, Jenn and Pat also played the shoe game while their bridal party officiated. It was very clear early in the evening, that Penn Staters sure can party!

There was a quick moment to sneak out and play with (pre-approved) sparklers and the newlyweds in the parking lot. So memorable!
