Ashley & Nathaniel’s Wedding Day Highlights

When you wish upon a star you can have the most magical day ever at your fingertips!

It was very important to Ashley and Nathaniel to incorporate a bit of Disney magic into their wedding day celebration. Ashley and her bridesmaids started the day with Beth Diprimeo and Becky for hair and makeup at the bride’s mother’s house. Ashley gifted each of her bridesmaids a custom robe and they hung in the background of the getting ready images. They listened to music, gossiped about different topics, and really built up the excitement for the day before heading off to William Penn Inn to get dressed for the ceremony.

Once the ladies arrived to William Penn Inn, they wasted no time getting Ashley into her David’s Bridal by Oleg Cassini so they could get her down the aisle on time. Just prior to getting the bride-to-be dressed, they took a group photo in the bridal suite in their robes. The bridesmaids put on their Alfred Angelo dresses and helped Ashley get dressed. The tulle bottom on her dress made it so much fun to incorporate into her photos!

As Ashley was getting ready downstairs in William Penn Inn’s bridal suite, Nathaniel was upstairs in a suite staring to get ready.  With the assistance of his groomsmen, Nathaniel quickly put on his Bell Tuxedo and rushed down to the ceremony location to say hello to arriving guests and family.  One of the most important moments of the day to Nathaniel was having his boutonniere pinned on his jacket by his grandfather.  As we photographed the moment Nathaniel was all smiles and for those who watched there were misty eyes all around.  Once his flower was ready to go he said hello to a few more people and then hid away until it was his turn to walk down the aisle.

The bridesmaids carried their Bristol Florist bouquets down the aisle in the garden at William Penn Inn just as it started to lightly mist outside. Ashley and Nathaniel didn’t mind the rain as long as the day would end with them being united as husband and wife. Nathaniel kept his back turned until Ashley was just moments from the alter. His smile greeted Ashley and he took her hands so they could start their ceremony. The officiant kept the ceremony short and sweet and before we knew it, they were married!

In true Disney fashion, the reception hall was dusted with hints of pink and blue. Ashley had put together a scavenger hunt for her guests to find Disney trinkets that had been hidden in plain sight throughout the ballroom. The newlyweds even turned their guest favor into the scavenger hunt – a spoon full of sugar! Impulse Entertainment‘s Vince kept the music playing all evening and the dance floor was a great time for the newlyweds guests.

We created my favorite photo at the end of the night. We really wanted to make a beautiful Disney inspired portrait for the newlyweds. We set them up for a silhouette image with a bit of colored light behind theme and just as we pushed the trigger, we tossed a handful of rose petals in the air for romantic effect. Such a great moment!

We love the way you two make each other laugh and how you hold hands and smile together. Thank you for letting us in to your magical wedding day celebration!
