Amanda & Jimmy’s Engagement Session Highlights

I feel every blog we write about Longwood Gardens needs to start with the phrase “the gardens are insanely spectacular – no matter where we point a camera we can make an amazing photo.” Amanda and Jimmy chose Longwood Gardens as the backdrop for their engagement photos. Such a great location, since their 2017 wedding is on Earth Day!

On a Sunday afternoon, Longwood Gardens can be a bit crowded (especially on such a lovely day in June!), but Amanda and Jimmy didn’t seem to mind as we started to photograph them in different areas of the gardens. One quick glance at each other and the world seemed to disappear for a moment, and both would smile.

These two love to spend time together, especially with their pup, Simba, and they absolutely love tailgating at Eagles Games. I forgot to ask if they are planning on incorporating any Eagles memorabilia into their wedding day celebration. Perhaps a little Eagles green for Earth Day?

We ended our session towards the Meadow Garden. This is one of my most favorite areas at Longwood Gardens because it is so peaceful, quiet, and always full of an expansive amount of plant life. This area truly makes you forget you are in a park, and perhaps you might have just stumbled upon this most perfect field of wild greens. Travis chose this spot to do a macro photo of Amanda’s engagement ring. Such a beautiful ring!
