Okay Jen, Explain #CaptionMyPicture

A Paris Adventure!

Oh hey! I suppose you clicked on my post so you can figure out what in the world #CaptionMyPicture is.

Well first – meet Amber.

We met in College working at Gracies (yes, this is where Travis’ and I met WAAAAAY back when… but we both knew Amber before we got to know each other – so if you want to know some weird dirt on either Travis or myself from our college days… she might know… or she’ll know someone who knows.)

2006 student managers at Gracies… well, maybe 2006. Something like that – when cell phone cameras were kind of a big deal.

Now Amber has some amazing job in NYC while I’m here in Philly. Anyway. Enough about us.

Amber had this fan-tab-ulous idea that we escape away this summer for a girls trip to Paris (how could I say ‘no’) and hang out and do amazing things in Paris for a weeklong getaway. Awesome. Unfortunately, both of us are super super busy with work things and have had a challenging time figuring out WHAT to do exactly while we’re in Paris. That’s where we need YOUR help.

We both share a little bit of the YOLO theory of life – so we want you to pick what we do in Paris. Yep. As long as it isn’t dangerous or anything, we’re game for some of the most random fun we’ve had in awhile!

1. 1. Instead of just recommending something to do, we want you to comment below with a caption for a photo you would share from Paris. For example, if you would to go to the Eiffel Tower, you could suggest a caption like “ I can’t believe I’m here to see this amazing landmark!” Or “ Paris is always a good idea!”
   2. Jen and I will each pick our three favorite captions and try to guess what you want us to see. We’ll do our best to find a great picture on our trip to pair with your caption. The more vague the caption, the more unpredictable the picture will be!

I got a text from a friend after I posted this status that said ” okay Jen, what does that REALLY mean?”

Well. Comment this…

” I don’t have much money but boy if I did, I’d buy a big house where we both could live. If I were a sculptor, but then again, no. Or a man who makes potions a traveling show. I know it’s not much…”

…If you want us to go see the Moulin Rouge. But we might THINK you want us to visit the Palace of Versailles. Either way, a win win.

Haha. That was a little more tough to figure out.

At first glance, it looks like you want us to climb to the top of a French flagpole and throw bolts at tourists. We might get arrested for that.

But… you know. Interpretation is everything.

You can see how this could potentially be amazingly hysterical.
