Clare & Tom’s Engagement Session Highlights

So it may look like we jetted off to Miami beach or something for this engagement session. As cool as that would be – this is actually just down the way at the New Jersey Shore at Island Beach State Park!

I love it when couples bring props that illustrate their relationship to include in their engagement session. In Clare and Tom’s case, they brought a trunkful of fun stuff like they were spending the afternoon at the beach! (Note, I asked Clare how long it took to pack everything and she said it was all things they for real-real take to the beach on a regular basis… so they were already in the car).

It was a perfectly wonderful summer evening outside so Clare and Tom were happy to stroll along the beach at Island Beach State Park together hand in hand. I love how natural this pair looks together. Everything we asked them to do for photos they both did with a smile and gave a great honest effort. My favorite moment was when we asked them to throw the beach ball back and forth and Tom couldn’t help but go tackle his bride-to-be for a kiss.

Thank you Clare and Tom for taking us to island Beach State Park – a place that is so special for the two of you! We are so excited for your wedding in July! (but seriously, can we spend the day at the beach again soon?)
