Nicole and Ryans’s Wedding Highlights

Ah, such a wonderful wonderful wonderful island full of so very many wonderful people we can now call friends and family! Nicole and Ryan met us at Julie and Steven’s 2012 Penn Ryn Mansion wedding and asked us to tag along to the island of Turks and Caicos to photograph their 2013 nuptials!

This particular Beaches Resort is located in Providenciales, Turks and Caicos. It is one of the top Beach and Sun Destinations in the World! We’ve heard many rumors from our scuba diving buddies that THIS is the place to be when traveling, but we were pleasantly surprised that they were not exaggerating – this is seriously one of the most beautiful beaches and pieces of ocean in the world. I cannot put into words the color of the ocean water!

Nicole and her ladies started the wedding day with hair and makeup at the salon on Beaches Resort property. She had beautiful little sunflowers put into her updo to tie in her love of the sunflower to her wedding day! Her Essence of Australia gown was not your typical “destination gown” but it fit perfectly into the immaculate theme of the resort and added quite the elegant touch to a beachside wedding. She wore vintage jewelry from her Grandmothers and her bridesmaids wore Bill Levkoff gowns from Arielle Bridal. The morning was full of love and laughter as Nicole waited patiently for the first look – well, sort of patiently – her hubby-to-be surprised her with a visit to her doorway and a bouquet of roses.

First looks may be my most favorite part of the wedding day. The bride and groom get to sneak a few moments together prior to the ceremony while their outfits are still pristine and they usually share a really genuine experience together before they face the pressure of standing in front of their friends and family to say their vows. We truly believe that wedding days are meant to spend the most time with your new spouse – you guys are a team after all!

Her wish came true – Nicole married her price charming in front of 60 of their friends and family in a garden overlooking the Turks and Caicos ocean. The ladies held silk sunflowers and the guys were dressed to the nines in their Tommy Hilfiger suits. The beachside ceremony was short and sweet and was over before they knew it! Guests cheered the newlyweds on as they signed their official marriage certificate and everyone paraded off to cocktail hour and the reception.

Nestled in the air-conditioning, guests enjoyed a sit-down dinner and dancing tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the resort. After the entrances, toasts, and dancing, the newlyweds slipped out of their reception a few minutes early to catch the last rays of lights on the beautiful resort beach in Turks and Caicos.

Nicole and Ryan! We are so happy you’re married! We look forward to a lifetime of wonderful memories and a continuing friendship! You two are amazing!
