Andrea & Dennis’ Wedding Day Highlights

Rose petals lined the aisle that Dennis’ and Andrea would make their way down to celebrate the union of their marriage. Roses and weddings and Dennis and Andrea just all seem to go together perfectly.

Valley Forge Casino Resort was the place to be on Dennis and Andrea’s wedding day. I might correct myself and say INSIDE was the place to be for their wedding. July threw us a couple super warm days for weddings! That was perfectly fine for the newly-weds. Super warm summer days always make the best sunsets. Both Andrea and Dennis got ready in their rooms at the Radisson.

My favorite moment from their wedding day? So hard to narrow to JUST one – but I really enjoyed the moments when Andrea and her mother, Daisy, took time during getting ready and unwrapped Daisy’s wedding dress. Andrea had a wish to cut a piece of fabric from this dress and pin it into her new David’s Bridal dress as her “something old.” I love it when you bring a piece of your family history with you to the alter. I also ADORE wedding dresses that have been in hiding for years!

Dennis and his guys look sharp in their Men’s Wearhouse tuxes. The gentlemen got ready quickly while listening to music and took a stroll outside in the shade for some photos. Dennis enjoyed some toasts from his guys as they chatted a bit about the “good ol’ football days” and laughed about how Travis was the shortest guy in the room (Travis was in the marching band – never a football player! sorry babe!).

Pure happiness was the expression on Dennis’ face when Andrea made her grand entrance into the South Ballroom. She looked radiant carrying her Blue Moon Florist bouquet and escorted by her father. Andrea’s wedding veil was tucked neatly into her up-do by Bold and Beautiful Salon. The almost-weds were surrounded by 150 of their dearest friends and family as Pastor Jack Mason performed their ceremony. After a Sand Unity Ceremony, the newly-weds shared a kiss and jumped the broom to make their way out of the ballroom as husband and wife!

Cocktail hour was held in the second story of “The Venue.” While guests enjoyed drinks and appetizers, Andrea and Dennis shared time with their family and bridal party for some quick group portraits. We also created a handful of images of just the bride and groom enjoying their first hour as being a married couple! After some fun bridal party introductions across the stage in “The Venue,” Andrea and Dennis shared their first dance as well as their parent dances. Terri from Valley Forge Casino helped guide the couple through all their wedding day activities. Post dances, we enjoyed some kind words from members of their bridal party. As we listened, and of course took photos, we discovered a common theme which traversed all of the speeches. Andrea and Dennis are the friends you turn to when things are the darkest. They are always there for you and will do anything to help their friends.

Triple T Entertainment kept the dance floor hot for Andrea and Dennis’ guests throughout the night. We even had a few moments to sneak the newlyweds outside to enjoy some sunset and golden hour portraits. Back inside to cut their Brooklyn Girl Bakery Cake and enjoyed the Photo Booth (by Triple T Entertainment). Before we knew it, the newlyweds were being sang to and surrounded on the dance floor during their last song.
