Kristin & Richard’s Engagement Session Highlights

Here we go again guys! Re-creating and re-living first dates with our amazing couples! This time we found ourselves at Citizens Bank Park with Kristin and Richard!

Have you ever been in an empty stadium? I’m not talking your typical high school or college nonsense – I’m talking about Major League Sports awesomeness! Well, if you arrive at, oh, say Citizens Bank Park, very early in the morning, you will most likely find it completely EMPTY. Of course, we made prior arrangements with the Citizens Bank Park staff so we could have full access to all the awesome locations.

We were surrounded by a zillion empty seats (actually 43,651 to be exact). For Kristin and Richard, this was really really unique because this duo had a handful of their first dates at this particular sports stadium (Kirsten even kept the ticket stubs dating all the way back to 2013!). I was secretly hoping we’d catch a glimpse of the Phillie Phanatic – but it seems to be when the ballpark is empty, he has the day off (though we did walk by his dressing room!).

Included in our photo time was a private tour of some of the areas of the Citizens Bank Park. We even had special permission to check out the ball players locker room and a few other lesser accessed areas (I’ll keep those a secret!). After shooting our time inside the stadium, we headed outside the perimeter to finish up their session with a few more unique shots. Kristin and Richard officially met for the first time outside the Eagles Stadium (in a very specific location), so we snagged a few shots there before heading back to the ticketing windows for Citizens Bank Park.

Kristin’s blue, white, and red outfit really showed her Phillies pride and tied together the whole spirit of their engagement session. I love the way these two interact and hold hands and just look at each other. March will be here before we know it, and we are so excited to photograph your wedding!
