Odara & Gary’s Engagement Session Highlights

Odara and Gary call Philadelphia home.  After rounds of traveling as professional dancers, the two have decided to settle down in the Philadelphia area. There is no better way to showcase their love for each other than celebrating with a photo session showcasing their “love” (literally, spelled out) and their passion for dance.

You’ve seen many engagement sessions featuring the Love Sculpture from around the United States – we decided to go big or go home! Since the statue in center city Philadelphia is quite popular and often crowded, we decided to photograph in a quieter neighborhood, which meant we could also showcase other pieces of modern art at the Ursinus Campus.  Odara and Gary met while performing together for a dance company and their mutual passion for dance turned into a relationship which turned into an engagement – so it seemed only natural to add elements of the arts into their session.  We finished the evening by driving into Philadelphia to catch the last bits of light at the Philadelphia Museum of Art. Odara and Gary really wanted to add the element of Philadelphia into their session.

These two were so natural together in front of the camera.  It was quite a pleasure to scheme and create unique photo opportunities for them during their session. Make sure you keep an eye out for those awesome poses as you enjoy their highlights!
