Brooklynne & Nick’s Engagement Session Highlights

I absolutely love that part of their story starts with, “and we lived across the street from each other!”

So we started our morning with this duo exploring their old stomping grounds in Manayunk. These two while they were in College literally lived diagonally across from each other. It was so neat listening to them reminisce about the great times they had in college together. From there, we were just a hop, skip, and a jump away from their school, Saint Joseph’s University. It’s been a couple years since they both attended, but Brooklynne and Nick both knew all the ins and outs of the university like it was yesterday.

They are planning a summer wedding, and though the morning of their started a bit brisk, the Philadelphia September weather gave us a quick sneak peek into some warmer temperatures that we might see next August with Brooklynne and Nick. My favorite moment during their session was in front of the library at Saint Joseph’s when I was shooting with the 85mm lens (and crouched in some grasses) and the two just managed to forget there was a camera photographing them. Nick, you are one lucky guy – Brooklynne’s smile is so beautiful and contagious!

Last stop for their engagement session was a local engagement classic – Philadelphia’s Broad Street. Such a great spot for them because they got engaged in Philadelphia! We are so excited to watch you two get married in August! 2017 is going to be here before we know it!
