Lauren & Thomas’ Wedding Day Highlights

No joke, I might be a sucker for a good pair of country cowgirl boots and a man in a bowtie. Like normal, I am getting ahead of myself. Let me start from the beginning….
For Travis the day started hanging out with Tom and his awesome groomsmen, as they got ready at Lauren’s parent’s house. Nestled into the heart of King of Prussia, the guys hung around the pool as they joked, told stories of their weddings, and enjoyed a few beers as they caught up and settled into the day. One of the highlights of the morning was photographing Tom helping his son Tyler get ready for the wedding. With Tom in his tuxedo, he helped Tyler don his smaller replica. Both men looked quite dashing in their tuxedos. Once ready the gentleman boarded a party bus and headed off to the church.

At the same time, Lauren was at Toms and Lauren’s house spending time with her girls. As they got their hair and make up done, the girls caught up and joked about the day to come. Lauren loved her dress and incorporated some personal details making her dress truly unique to her. Stitched onto the back the dress was a blue heart, which carried much sentimental value. We love when brides personalize their dresses making them truly unique! After sliding into her dress she headed outside with her brides maids for some photos. Each bridesmaid carried a handcrafted signed outlining her relationship/relation to Lauren. It was great unique touch which tells a wonderful story, allowing people who view her photos to understand how important each of her bride’s maids were. Each bridesmaid carried a country inspired bouquet of sunflowers, After photos the girl’s boarded the bus and headed to the church to meet Tom and the guys.

The ceremony at Corpus Christi was lovely and looking into the crowd you could see the pride and love in each person’s face towards Lauren and Tom. For us, one of the best parts of a ceremony is observing the audience. You can feel the love and happiness of each person there. It is a truly an amazing experience, and one you can almost only experience photographing a wedding. After sealing their vows with a kiss they came down the aisle and greeted their guests in the lobby before some family photos.

After the ceremony the whole party headed to a friend’s barn where between raindrops a large group photo was taken of the entire wedding party. The sky was fantastic! There were rolling clouds forming a thick grey sky adding to the level of drama in the images. The barn, the tuxedos and dresses, and the intense sky allowed for some really awesome photos that were a blast to take. Unfortunately, it did start to rain resulting in everyone heading over the venue early. At the venue, we stole the bride and groom away to snap more photos in the gorgeous lobby of Presidential Caterers. From here forward the bride and groom were whisked into their reception where they enjoyed the company of all their friends and family. The night was highlighted with heart felt toasts, sentimental dances, and a rocking dancing floor. We would like to thank Tom and Lauren for having us be part of their big day and wish them many years of luck and happiness.

To the new Mr and Mrs, we are so happy you invited us into your wedding celebration! May you have many many happy years together!
