Marisalynn & Kevin’s Engagement Session Highlights

It is all about the personality. And seriously look no further when it comes to two awesome people. Meet Marisalynn and Kevin: lovers of dogs, beers, and each other (in no particular order).

We asked this duo where they wanted to have their engagement session and they chose Neshaminy Creek Brewing Company for the main reason of being able to tie in all the things that they love. Firstly, they are two proud parents to two little pups – Marley-Bob and Snow White – so it was pretty important to include them in their engagement photos. Next on the list of loving things is beer – and we are so lucky to live in an area where there local breweries are soaring off the charts with awesome offerings. The best part is – Neshaminy Creek Brewing Company allows dogs in their tasting room!

Kevin describes his fiancée as “fun with a passionate personalty.” He also goes into detail about how she is pretty outgoing – which is an amazing trait to find in someone… and probably also aided in his new found love for dogs (pretty sure if he didn’t love dogs, it would be a deal breaker). Marisalynn taught him how to love dogs so much, Kevin used their dogs to propose to his wife-to-be. ‘Twas the day of Christmas (Kevin’s favorite holiday) and the dogs gifted Marisalynn a t-shirt that asked, “Will you marry my daddy?”

When we arrived to Neshaminy Creek Brewing Company we all immediately ordered a beer and got to work making the whole brewery our playground for their engagement images. Seriously the NICEST NCBC crew imaginable was working while we took photos. They were full of so much knowledge of the craft beer brewing process and gave us access to some pretty wicked backdrops for Marisalynn and Kevin’s engagement session.

This might be my favorite from their session.

I always joke that you can put me in one room and I can think of about 6 hours of photos we can do with a couple – especially when they have such fantastic chemistry. I’m pretty sure Marisalynn and Kevin forgot we were photographing their engagement session as we all just hung out and chatted about… well… everything! This is the big room. It’s a warehouse full of empty cans. I”m obsessed.

Okay, and one more. (Seriously we just spun in a circle and these were the four walls. How cool is that? I had one more shot for the 4th wall… but we ran out of time. Who wants to go back?)

We are so excited for your (self-proclaimed) “traditional” wedding – though we can’t even fathom how “traditional” is possible after hanging out with the two of you – you guys have so much personality and bring adventure wherever you go! 😊
