Nichelle & Matthew’s Engagement Session Highlights

What an evening we had with this fun loving trio! Lana and her human parents had us smiling and laughing for their whole engagement session!

Ridley Creek State Park is always on the top of our list for engagement sessions – the charm of the 2,606 acre property that is open every day of the year really makes a super background for photos, no matter what the season is!

Nichelle has two best friends – Lana and Matthew – so to have photos taken on this beautiful late spring day surrounded by her favorite beings at Ridley Creek State Park brought and easy smile to her face. Matthew is a bit more stoic than his two counterparts, but we caught him smiling every time he snuck a glance at his fiancé.

We of course did our favorite ring shot – Lana played along perfectly as we asked her to sit really still while we balanced a ring on her nose. Lana even gave us a half smile as we threw in a few Archer jokes along the way.

Once the evening hours really set in at Ridley Creek State Park, we were graced with a beautiful golden hour of light to photographed the engaged duo and their faithful Lana. My favorite moment of the day we photographed was the moment that Nichelle and Matthew gave Lana a big smooch on the side of her face – and she stuck her tongue out in approval.
