Brittany and Michael’s Wedding Day Highlights

The 1920’s are back! Well, they made a special appearance for Brittany and Michael’s July 20, 2014 wedding day at the Phoenixville Foundry. Though the location and date of their festivities changed a handful of times, this couple knew they wanted to incorporated this spiffy theme into their wedding day.

Brittany started her day at Salon Fiber surrounded by her nearest and dearest girls. A handful of wedding projects were being finished up as the dames enjoyed coffee and drinks as they had their hair and makeup done in true 1920’s style. The ladies hoofed it down to the Phoenixville Foundry to finish getting dolled up so Brittany could get to her first look on time. She slinked into her era inspired gown by Tarik Ediz (which if you love it, she purchased it at Castle Couture). And ladies, she designed and crafted her own headpiece!

Michael’s jaw dropped when he saw his bride. Her dress was nothing less than spectacular and she also grinned from ear to ear when he pulled her in for a hug. We enjoyed the mild July weather as we completed most of their bridal portraits before guests arrived.

The ceremony was officiated by Brittany’s brother in law, and the couple decorated with plants they nursed from their backyard. For any guests who forgot to come in costume, attendants were on hand with strings of pearls and red carnations to decorate patrons.

Cocktail hour was complete with an ice sculpture luge and the couple mingled with their guests. After they were announced, they danced their first dances and received toast from those who are near and dear to their hearts. The 1920’s reception spaced was revealed to the party-goers nod guests enjoyed food stations by Feastivities. Ken’s Entertainment spun some tunes for dancing – though a little out of the 1920’s era, guests kicked up their heels and danced the night away.

It was certainly a night to remember at the Phoenixville Foundry!
