Susan & Steven | Wedding Highlights | Moshulu, Philadelphia, PA
We met Susan and Steven back in January at the Great Bridal Expo. They presented us with such a unique wedding concept, that there was no way we could miss photographing their big day!
Destination: Oahu, Hawaii
Task: A little R&R for these wedding photographers
I have many many blog posts coming about some of our adventures in Hawaii, but I thought I’d start off this gorgeous spring Saturday morning with my favorite topic; my husband. If you’ve found me on Facebook and have been following my profile page, you will already know that we’ve spent the last two weeks in beautiful Hawaii to rest and relax before the official kick-off of wedding season.
Leeann & Matt | Wedding Highlights | Eden Resorts and Suites, Lancaster, PA | Saint Peter Church, Coatesville, PA
Leeann and Matt’s wedding took place on a wonderfully sunny March day. We’re quite uncertain where this weather appeared from (considering the amount of snow the Philadelphia area has received in March!)… but it worked out really swell for our portrait session.
Travis and I are so excited that THIS was the wedding to kick off 2013 wedding season. Pre-wedding, Leeann and Matt were engaged with DIY wedding projects, planning, and of course prepping the groom’s mini-truck (named Sven-the-Sten). On the wedding day this pair had nothing to worry about. All the plans, the projects, the truck (with a few minor tweaks), and of course their love, came together for a beautiful ceremony at Saint Peter Church in Coatesville, Pennsylvania, and a fabulous reception at the Eden Resorts and Suites in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
We are super jealous the pair of you just spent time in Orlando for your honeymoon, but never-the-less, please enjoy this sneak peek of your wedding photos!
Love what you see? Check out their engagement session which took place at the Colonial Theater in Phoenixville!
LEO Couture at La Massaria at Bella Vista Golf Course
I believe this is my most favorite bridal show setup yet! La Masseria at Bella Vista Golf Course lives up to the description on their website by being absolutely breathtaking. What a great day full of so many talented vendors and beautiful brides-to-be. The theme for the show was The Icing on the Cake! More on this in a second.
What a grand wedding to end 2012 and ring in 2013. Jolene and Mike certainly chose a spectacular venue; The Antique Auto Museum at Hershey which is complete with over 100 unique (and antique) motor vehicles. The reception ended perfectly at 11:59pm on December 31, 2012, and with the museum’s location at the top of a hill in Hershey Pennsylvania, guests could enjoy the wondrous fireworks from multiple directions, some of the spectacular put on by New Year’s Eve Hershey and held right outside Hershey Park.
We were so excited when Leeann and Matt approached us with the idea of holding their engagement session in a movie theater! We couldn’t dream of a better backdrop than the historic Colonial Theatre, located just around the corner from Uncorked Studios. In our pre-planning e-mails, Leeann mentioned how important it was to include Matt’s mini-truck; because the theme for their wedding is “Draggin’ it to the Alter.”
December in Review as told by the iPhone and other Media Devices

Uncorked Studios worked one-on-one with Rebecca and Zach to create their vision for their wedding day. We traveled trolley-style around Philadelphia to a variety of locations to capture their photography vision before we landed at the National Museum of American Jewish History for their ceremony and reception. Get a peek into their day by checking out their video below!
