Ashley & William’s Engagement Session Highlights

The “perpetual Eden that opened in 1921” we refer to as the Conservatory at Longwood Gardens. It is such a photographer’s dream to photograph in this stunning oasis because of the wondrous natural light and the bountiful lush greenery.

Ashley dreamed of her engagement session in a tropical oasis – which in Pennsylvania in November can be quite a tall order. Fortunately the staff at Longwood Gardens granted us access to their indoor facility on this rather chilly day so we could give Ashley and William the engagement session she desired.

This adorable duo met while attending spring semester at college in 2008. Ashley’s most favorite part of their relationship is how much the “opposites attract” theory applies to them. It’s amazing how two people with polar opposite characteristics can find someone in this world with the exact characteristics they are suppose to be paired with to find perfect harmony.

The Indoor Gardens inside the Conservatory have expended greatly since 1921 to include many hallways and spaces with different names. The Orangery is one of my favorite places inside the Conservatory. Originally filled with citrus fruits (hence the name), it is now known for it’s perfectly pedicured lawns and seasonal flowering plants.

The best part of their engagement session at Longwood Gardens was the moments we captured the two of them just being themselves together. Ashley loved having Will shower her with attention during the session and she loved it when he was whispering sweet talk in her ear.

Their wedding is approaching rapidly in August, and they are counting the days until marriage will “greet us with a lifelong journey together.”

We cannot wait to capture your smiles on your wedding day! It’s going to be here before you know it (and much warmer than November!).
